Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “THINGS THAT FLY”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!
Stampin’ Up!’s designer paper is SO gorgeous that sometimes it just needs to be used all by itself! That’s how I feel about the new Rings of Love Designer Paper available for FREE with purchase during Sale-A-Bration in July and August! Don’t miss out on this one! The only thing stamped on here is the greeting!
PEACEFUL MOMENTS & FABULOUS FRAMES
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Orchid Oasis cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Rings of Love DSP was added to the base card.
- The Fabulous Frame was cut from 4 x 5-1/4 Soft Suede and added over the DSP with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A 1 x 3-3/4 piece of Soft Sea Foam cardstock was added towards the bottom with a 1/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Orchid Oasis cardstock on top.
- The oval Fabulous Frame was cut from Basic White cardstock and the center portion stamped with the Happy Birthday greeting from Peaceful Moments on top in Orchid Oasis Ink. It is popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- One bird was cut from the DSP and added next to the greeting.
- Two Fine Sparkle Gems were also added to the oval.
