Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Birthday” cards. I am always needing birthday cards!
GARDEN MEADOW
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Shaded Spruce cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake is added on top.
- The 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Meandering Meadow DSP (Online Exclusive) is added to the left side.
- A 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock is lightly colored along the top portion with Balmy Blue and Petal Pink Inks and Blending Brushes.
- Happy Birthday from Garden Meadow stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink along the top.
- A 1-1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock was torn across the top, then stamped with the ground image in Shaded Spruce Ink several times. It was added to the bottom of the Basic White, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flowers and watering can were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with Berry Bliss, Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Garden Meadow Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two dragonflies from Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds were added to the front.
