Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a flower filled wagon!

GARDEN MEADOW

Well, I don’t have any wagon stamps (but I do like the Online Exclusive one!), so I decided a wheelbarrow would be close enough!  I like it colored red!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Poppy Parade cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock was added on top.
  • The 1-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Meandering Meadow Designer Paper was added along the left side, then the arch cut from the reverse side and added to the front.
  • The wheelbarrow was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with Poppy Parade, Real Red, Flirty Flamingo, Bubble Bath, Granny Apple Green and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.  It was cut with the Garden Meadow Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Thinking of you was stamped with Poppy Parade Ink and hand-cut around the letters, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Linen Thread was folded in half and tied in a bow, then added to the wheelbarrow.
  • Two of the Brass Butterflies were added in the background.

Cardstock:  Basic White, Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade, Meandering Meadow Designer Paper

CS131 – Garden Meadow

Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards.  This month the theme is “Birthday” cards.  I am always needing birthday cards!

GARDEN MEADOW

 

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Shaded Spruce cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake is added on top.
  • The 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of Meandering Meadow DSP (Online Exclusive) is added to the left side.
  • A 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock is lightly colored along the top portion with Balmy Blue and Petal Pink Inks and Blending Brushes.
  • Happy Birthday from Garden Meadow stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink along the top.
  • A 1-1/2 x 2-1/2 piece of Shaded Spruce cardstock was torn across the top, then stamped with the ground image in Shaded Spruce Ink several times.  It was added to the bottom of the Basic White, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The flowers and watering can were stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock, then colored with Berry Bliss, Shaded Spruce, Lemon Lime Twist and Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends.  They were cut with the Garden Meadow Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two dragonflies from Adhesive Backed Dragonflies & Birds were added to the front.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge.  This week we have a pretty color combination to inspire you!

GARDEN WALK

Garden Walk Bundle is a new Online Exclusive that is available for demos to preorder right now!  It will be available for everyone to order beginning November 7th.  I loved the wheelbarrow and had to make up this card for my mom’s birthday this week!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Garden Walk Designer Paper was added to the front.
  • The arch was cut with the Garden Meadow Dies from Mossy Meadow cardstock and adhered on front.
  • The 3/4 x 4 Wild Wheat Garden Walk DSP stripe was added across the front.
  • The wheelbarrow from Garden Meadow was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and colored with Calypso Coral, Wild Wheat and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.  The wheel from Light Smoky Slate and Light Basic Black Blends.  It was cut with the Garden Meadow Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Wink of Stella was added to the blossoms.
  • Happy Birthday from Garden Meadow was stamped with Mossy Meadow Ink on 1/2 x 3 strip of Basic White and the ends cut at an angle.  It was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two Brushed Brass Butterflies were added to the background.
