This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Hearts
HEARTS OF ELEGANCE
Here’s another quick and easy Hearts of Elegance card! Hard to tell in the photo, but the large heart die has three rows of stitching along the edge! Fancy! I liked it cut out of the DSP, too!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cherry Cobbler cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is embossed with the So Swirly Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- The large, stitched heart die is cut from the Marbled Elegance Designer Paper.
- Some Gold Twisted Thread is wrapped around the heart (helps to secure it in the back before you tie it) and then a bow tied in the upper right corner. A Mini Glue Dot keeps it secure on the front. The heart is then added to the front at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Hearts of Elegance Be Mine greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Melon Mambo and cut with the smaller heart die. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Heart Sequins were added to the heart and the background.
