This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Easter as the focus on our cards! Even though Easter is late in the Spring this year, it is always nice to have ideas to get a jump start on them!
MIXED FLORALS
Yellow, green and blue just are SO springy looking so I focused on those colors for today’s Easter card!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 2-1/2 x 5-1/2 strip of Floral Delight DSP was added down the center.
- The 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 piece of Old Olive cardstock was torn across the top and bottom and added to the front.
- The large flower from Mixed Florals was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and water colored with Lemon Lolly, Old Olive and Balmy Blue Inks. It was cut with the Spotlight on Nature circle die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Transparent Adhesive Backed Dots were added to the background.
- Easter Greetings from Storybook Friends stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/4 x 2-1/2 Old Olive cardstock and the ends torn. It was adhered to the circle.
