Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Let’s Get Punchy”!
WOOLLY FRIENDS PUNCH
I always love to create flowers from unusual punches! This one has been on my mind for a while. I thought the sheep body would make a great flower petal!
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 new In Color Barely Blush cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder and adhered to the front.
- A 2 x 5-1/4 strip of new Bloom Boutique Designer Paper (available May 5) was added down the right side.
- A 1 x 4 strip of new In Color Peaceful Pine cardstock was added across the front towards the bottom.
- The Woolly Friends sheep body was punched five times from Basic White cardstock and brushed around the edges with Barely Blush Ink. The petals were curved and then adhered in a circle, then added to the front of the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The center is cut with the Stylish Shapes circle die from Golden Glow cardstock, stamped with the new Lily of the Valley greeting in Peaceful Pine Ink and added to the center.
- Another sheep body was punched from Peaceful Pine cardstock and cut in half, then tucked under the flower at the top for the leaves.
