Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Celebrate Holidays”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in November using that theme!
CELEBRATE WITH TAGS
I really purchased this bundle mostly for the tag dies. I enjoy making personalized tags for my gifts, especially at Christmas! But…I thought this mitten stamp was darling, so built my card around the mitten image, with my favorite snowflake embossing folder, too!
- Base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with the Wintry Snowflake Embossing Folder across the top.
- A 1-1/4 x 5-1/2 piece of Sweetest Christmas Designer Paper was added on a diagonal across the bottom and trimmed off the side of the Basic White. The layer was added to the front of the base card.
- Two mittens were stamped with Pool Party Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Celebrations Tag Die. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two snowflakes were cut from Basic White cardstock with the Celebrations Tag Die and added next to the mittens.
- Be Jolly from Celebrate with Tags Stamp Set was stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the banner Celebrations Tag Die.
- A trio of Pool Party Solid Faceted Gems were added to the snowflakes and background.
