Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is Sale-A-Bration! We will design our cards using this theme!
BEAUTIFULLY HAPPY
Stampin’ Details:
- Base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pale Papaya cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of HIghland Heather cardstock was embossed with the Cane Weave Embossing Folder!
- A 1-1/2 x 4-1/4 piece of Dandy Designs DSP (SAB) was added to the left side.
- The Beautifully Happy flower outline was stamped with Memento Black Ink. The insides were stamped with Highland Heather, Pear Pizzazz and Pale Papaya. I colored over the leaves of the Pale Papaya image with the Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Seaside Bay Stamp Set was stamped with Memento Black on a 1/2 x 2-1/2 strip of Basic White and the end cut at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Iridescent Rhinestones were added to the flower center and background.
I needed a sympathy card for a stamping friend whose mom just passed away. This is a very simple design, but packs a wow, I think! Make sure to check out Mary’s Creatively Simple card over on Create with Connie and Mary!
