Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is Animals! We will design our cards using this theme!
PERCHED IN A TREE
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Gray cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Gray Granite cardstock was embossed with the Fall Leaf Embossing Folder (it’s back as an Online Exclusive item!)
- The bird and tree limb were stamped with Basic Gray Ink on Basic White cardstock.
- The bird was colored with Gray Granite Combo, Daffodil Delight Combo, Pumpkin Pie Combo Stampin’ Blends. The tree limb with Light Gray Granite Stampin’ Blends. Both were cut with the Aspen Dies. The tree limb was added to the front of the card.
- The leaves were cut with the Aspen Dies from Parakeet Party cardstock and sponged with Parakeet Party Ink, then added to the front.
- The bird was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greeting from Sweet Songbirds was stamped with Basic Gray Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Basic White cardstock and the ends trimmed at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of gold Milky Dots were added to the background.
