Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme. This month the theme is New Colors! We will design our cards using any of the new colors introduced in the Annual Catalog!
TACO FIESTS
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Gray Granite cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lemon Lolly cardstock was added on top.
- A 1 x 3 strip of Bright & Beautiful DSP was added to the left side.
- The 2-3/4 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock was colored with the “grass” using the Light Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends.
- The pinata, cactus, face and hat were all stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock, then colored with Berry Burst Combo, Lemon Lime Twist Combo, Lemon Lolly Combo and Bubble Bath Combo Stampin’ Blends. They were hand-cut and added to the front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of blue Ombre Matte Decorative Dots were added to the background.
- The greeting was stamped under the stamped panel with Memento Black Ink.
