It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. This week is a pretty color challenge! I know I’ve used this combo a lot this fall season.
ARTFUL AMARYLLIS
I just got this stamp set…I haven’t purchased the dies yet…may not. The flower was just so pretty that I had to have it and it would be easy to cut out if I needed. I guess I didn’t realize that amaryllis came in a lot of different colors…not just red! This card came together really quickly because of the two-step stamping!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded. (Wow! I’m using a lot of this color…just had to order a couple more packages!)
- A 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of green Sweet Days of Autumn DSP was added to the front.
- A 1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Wild Wheat cardstock was added over the DSP towards the bottom.
- Another 1-1/4 x 4 piece of coordinating Cajun Craze Sweet Days of Autumn DSP was added on top.
- The amaryllis flower was stamped on Basic White cardstock with Memento Black Ink. The flowers were stamped with Cajun Craze Ink and the leaves with Mossy Meadow Ink. It was cut with the Deckled Rectangle Die and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- I had this Stylish Shapes label already cut from Basic Beige and laying on my desk, so I stamped the greeting with Memento Black Ink and then added it to the front of the card.
- A trio of Wild Wheat Faux Glass Dots were added to the background and next to the flower stem.
