It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! Love all the purples that Stampin’ Up! has in their color lineup. Here’s all three of them together for today’s color challenge!
BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLIES
I finally used the large butterfly in this stamp set! I’ve used the wings and the small butterflies on different cards, but not the large one! Right now, I only have the stamp set…still debating on getting the dies or not. They were on backorder for a long time, so I haven’t picked them up. But…now that they are on sale in June, it would be a great idea to get them 50% off during the sale!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 8-1/2 Highland Heather cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 to form the base card.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped randomly with the smaller butterfly in Fresh Freesia Ink. It was added to the front.
- Three strips of Fresh Freesia, Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape cardstock were cut 3/4 x 4 and added to the center on the front.
- Happy Birthday from Beautiful Butterflies was stamped with Gorgeous Grape on the top Fresh Freesia strip.
- The butterfly was stamped with Gorgeous Grape Ink on Highland Heather cardstock and the dots with Highland Heather Ink. It was hand-cut and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals just in the center under the body.
- Two small light Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were added to the body.
