It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  It’s a color challenge this week!

DELICATE PINES

I guess I wouldn’t have thought of a snowflake stamp set when seeing these colors, but I love how this came out!  The blues being “normal” colors and a pop of the unusual with the Pecan Pie!

 

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Cloud Cover cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded to form the base card.
• The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the Delicate Pines pinecone in Pecan Pie Ink and the small snowflake in Cloud Cover Ink randomly along the sides.  It was added to the front.
• A 3-1/2 x 5-1/4 piece of Pecan Pie cardstock was added down the front.
• The 3-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Peaceful Garden Designer Paper was added on top of the Pecan Pie.
• The large snowflake from Delicate Pines stamp set was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink, the medium snowflake with Cloud Cover ink and cut with the Delicate Pines Dies.  They were added together and to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• The small center snowflake was cut from the Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper and added to the snowflakes with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
• Two leaf branches from Delicate Pines were cut from Pecan Pie cardstock and added under the snowflakes.
• The greeting was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on 1/2 x 4 strip of Pecan Pie cardstock and added to the front across the top.
• A small Streaked Dot was added to the center of the small snowflake.
