It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This July month of challenges are some of my favorites! Each week we will be using a sample card from the current Stampin’ Up! catalog and recreating it using either the layout, the colors, or a combination of both!
FLOWERING MEADOW
This challenge focuses mostly on the designer paper. I love the Velvet Meadow Designer Paper…it actually has velvet details…but I haven’t used the stamp set a lot! The bright, floral background on the DSP was perfect for this challenge, and I followed the inspiration card layout for my card.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Peaceful Pine cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Velvet Meadow DSP was added on top.
- Two sprigs and a stem were cut with the dies from Peaceful Pine cardstock and adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flowers were cut with the dies from Berry Burst cardstock and the flower center from Daffodil Delight cardstock. They were adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The greetings were stamped with Berry Burst Ink on Basic White cardstock and then punched with the Three Banner Punch (the long greeting was omit stamped so it would fit). They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Three small Iridescent Pearls were added to the small flower centers.
