It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! This week is a pretty color combination!
HITTING THE SLOPES
My immediate thought was to use the Painted Pumpkin Bundle along with the coordinating DSP because it has these colors. But my eye caught this Hitting the Slopes stamp set that I hadn’t used yet! I’m always grabbing these sport sets because my grandkids are so involved in a variety of sports…they don’t snowboard yet, but I’m sure they will try it at some point!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base 4-1/4 x 11 Timid Tiger cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- Cut a 3-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Winter Dreams DSP.
- Tear across the top of a 1-3/4 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock and add to the bottom of the DSP.
- Attach the DSP to a 3-3/4 x 5 piece of Pool Party cardstock and adhered to the base card.
- Stamp the snowboard and the helmet with Basic Black Ink and color with Pool Party, Timid Tiger and Secret Sea Stampin’ Blends. Hand-cut and add to the snowbank.
- Stamp the greeting with Secret Sea Ink on 1-1/2 x 1-3/4 Basic White cardstock and cut the bottom as a flag. Add to the top right corner.
- Add two orange Sunset Sparkle Sequins to the snowbank.
