Elegant Butterfly

I love this new Elegant Butterfly Punch so much better than the last one.  It is more realistic, I guess!  I took last year's sketch from Create with Connie and Mary and refurbished it with new Floral District Designer Paper and the new Elegant Butterfly punch!

 

 

I used colors from the Floral District Designer Paper…I had a bunch of scraps left over from an upcoming project (hint, hint!)  I started with a base of Lucky Limeade and layered on Whisper White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Chevron Folder.  I punched out different patterns of DSP with the Postage Punch and popped them up on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals.  I ruffled some Baja Breeze Seam Binding Ribbon along the bottom and added one of the new Vintage Faceted Buttons, tied with Lucky Limeade Bakers' Twine.

 

I added two of the Elegant Butterflies, punched from Baja Breeze and sponged with Baja Breeze Ink.  I added Pearls for their bodies and attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.  Finally, I added Itty Bitty Banners, cut with the Framelit, to tuck in on the front.
