Here is a sample of my swap card for Leadership. I only got about 20 of them done. In fact, I had to make them on the plane! I just ran out of time to do more because of the basement situation. I finally did get the carpet and laminate ordered. Still need to order cabinets for my room…so it will be torn up for a while longer. I just couldn't get it all done before I left.
I started playing around with the Fashionable Hearts and this arrangement came to me! I thought it looked like a flower!
I used a base of Very Vanilla cardstock, then layered on Poppy Parade that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Impressions Folder. I cut a label from Designer Labels Framelits of Very Vanilla. I made up a bunch of the Fashionable Hearts Embosslits in Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral and Poppy Parade and mixed and matched the hearts to make the flowers. The leaves are the largest heart cut in half and trimmed a bit to make them smaller. I stamped Imagine from Loving Thoughts with Basic Black on Old Olive and punched with the Modern Label punch. In the background is Designer Paper from the SAB brochure, Everyday Enchantment. LOVE it! Oh, I added a Rhinestone jewel for a little bling…you know me and BLING! lol!
Love the color combination! Thank you so much for your creativity!
I love it, Connie! I wouldn't have thought to make that flower with the hearts.

Adorable card, love the colors and the stacked hearts.
A wonderful design and am betting that those lucky enough to receive one of your cards will love it… And others will understand your predicament. Have a wonderful time!
Awesome! I was wondering if you would let us know what you made for swap! And you worked on them on the plane! ha ha ha! It's very cute! I first saw it as a dessert. (my bad) thinking the bottom green was like a chocolate or cupcake wrapper. So your creativity could go farther than you thought! 🙂
Very pretty card.

Connie, I love the card, the color and everything. Not only it looked like a flower I was thinking of an ice cream. How bad of me. Wow and you were able to work on them on the plane. I'm so proud of you. Well have a GREAT time and a safe trip.
At first glance, I thought the design was a delicious sherbet sundae! Very cute, and the best use of orange (not my favorite color) that I've seen in a long while. Have a good time in San Antonio, it will be fun to hear all about it.
I love this-what a cute idea!!
