Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a colorful coverlet for the bed!
FLOWERS OF BEAUTY
I must admit…this one stumped me a little. I didn’t have a stamp set with this type of image that I could easily grab. So I went with the colors, but we really don’t have that bright pink color anymore (the retired Polished Pink would have been good I think!) So I came as close to the color combination as I could. Looking back, I wished I would have stamped color on color instead of color on white, but I wasn’t going to redo it! lol!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Black was added to the front.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Melon Mambo cardstock embossed with the new So Swirly Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- The Unbounded Love greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White and cut with the Unbounded Love oval die and added to the front.
- The large flowers were stamped and stamped off with Balmy Blue Ink, the centers and small flowers with Melon Mambo Ink, and the leaves with Lemon Lime Twist Ink. All were cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some blue Glossy Dots Assortment were added to the center of the small flowers and the background.
