Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is a pretty teapot set! My grandmother collected teapots and I was fortunate enough to get a pretty stacking one…very unusual! It has the teapot, creamer and sugar vessels all stacked on top of each other.
COUNTRY FLOWERS
Of course, what else could I use except the pretty teapot in the Country Flowers stamp set! I think I used it in a little different way, though!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/2 piece of Thoughtful Journey 6×6 DSP was added on top. (NOTE: I trimmed off the edge from both sides so that the scene was balanced on the front.)
- The greeting from Country Flowers was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink in the bottom right corner.
- The 2-1/2 x 3 piece of Basic White cardstock was brushed with Misty Moonlight Ink around the edges, then layered on a 2-3/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Misty Moonlight cardstock at an angle. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The teapot and lid were cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock using the Country Flowers Dies, then stamped with the large floral image with Misty Moonlight Ink for a tone-on-tone look. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The flowers were cut from Pumpkin Pie, Basic White and Fresh Freesia cardstock, the leaf cluster from Mossy Meadow cardstock and added to the top of the teapot.
- Rhinestone jewels were added to the center of the flowers.
- Some Linen Thread was tied around the handle in a bow.
