Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is pretty decorated tree…just in time for Christmas!
MERRIEST TREES
I love the shape of the Christmas tree in this set…and had fun pairing it with these colors! The Petal Pink gives it a little dash of unexpected!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Petal Pink cardstock is added on top.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White was stamped with the Merriest Trees solid image in Soft Sea Foam Ink and the details in Garden Green Ink.
- The trunk was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink.
- A 1-1/2 x 3-3/4 strip of Basic White was torn across the top and brushed with Balmy Blue Ink lightly to create a shadow. It was stamped with the greeting in Garden Green Ink and adhered to the bottom of the Basic White layer, then added to the front.
- The 1/4″ Petal Pink Diagonal Trim was tied in a bow and added to the tree with Mini Glue Dots.
- The pink, gold and green Blooming Pearls were added to the tree for ornaments…three of each color.
