Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a pretty fall wreath!
ARTISTIC LEAVES
I love the colors off fall! Summer is my favorite season, but fall is a close second! I love taking leaf images and making wreaths from them. Here’s another idea using the single leaf in Artistic Leaves!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Autumn Toile Designer Paper was added on top.
- A 2″ circle was punched from Basic Beige cardstock and stamped with the greeting in Early Espresso Ink in the center. It was adhered to the front.
- The single leaf was stamped twice with Old Olive, twice with Crushed Curry, twice with Cajun Craze and once with Pumpkin Pie Inks on Basic Beige cardstock. The detail image was stamped with Basic Beige Ink on all the leaves. They were hand-cut and added around the edge of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The pumpkins from Choose Happy stamp set were stamped with Early Espresso Ink on Pumpkin Pie cardstock, the stems colored with SU100 Stampin’ Blends and the speckled stamp in Artistic Leaves stamped with Pumpkin Pie Ink. They were hand-cut and added to the wreath with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Two acorns and two berry branches were cut from Pecan Pie cardstock with the Branching Out Dies. The acorns were brushed with Early Espresso Ink. They were adhered and tucked around the pumpkins on the wreath.
- Some Old Olive Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added under the pumpkins with a Mini Glue Dot.
- A trio of Cajun Craze & Gold Dots were added to the background.
