Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a bouquet of spring tulips!
WOOLLY FRIENDS
I only have about 15 stamp sets and dies here in Florida with me, so I was struggling to come up with something I could use for tulips! I ended up finding the little row of tulips in the Woolly Friends stamp set!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pretty in Pink cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Fresh Freesia was embossed with the Beautiful Patterns Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- The 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 strip of Made with Love Designer Paper was added to the front towards the left side.
- The circle was cut from Basic White cardstock using the Spotlight on Nature Die.
- The Woolly Friends greeting was stamped at the top with Memento Black Ink.
- A “sun” was brushed with Daffodil Delight Ink in the upper left corner and the “grass” was brushed with Granny Apple Green Ink across the bottom.
- The tulips were stamped in a row using Memento Black Ink, then Pretty in Pink for the petals and Granny Apple Green for the leaves.
- Another set of tulips were stamped on scrap Basic White cardstock, colored and then hand-cut and added below the row of tulips.
- The 1/8″ Bubble Bath Faux Linen Ribbon was tied in a bow and added to the stems at the bottom.
- A trio of Antique Pearls were added to the background.
