Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is an umbrella print!
GEARS & TEXTURES
Well, I have NO umbrella stamps so I was struggling to figure out how I could use this inspiration photo! I decided to pull out the colors and the circular shapes of the umbrellas and used the Gears & Textures bundle!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Azure Afternoon cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped and stamped off with the texture image in Azure Afternoon ink randomly in the background.
- A 1-1/2 x 5-1/4 polka dot Made with Love DSP was added along the left side. A coordinating stripe Made with Love DSP was added towards the bottom.
- The large gear was cut with the die from Crushed Curry cardstock, the smaller ring gear from Garden Green cardstock, the spoke gear from Azure Afternoon cardstock, and the chain and smallest gear/screw from Real Red cardstock. They were popped up on the front (the green and red gears are flat).
- Celebrate from Banner Sayings was stamped with Azure Afternoon ink on Basic White cardstock and punched with the Three Banner Punch, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of green and red Dear Dots were added to the background.
That worked out MUCH better than I anticipated and truly gives a feel of the inspiration piece! OK, check out Debbie’s Inspiration Monday card over on Create with Stamping Friends!
