It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. For the next several weeks we will be “Casing the Designer”. Each week we have picked a designer and will select a card she designed from the past year. We will use the Colors and Layout of her design and recreate our version using new stamps/bundles and products!

And for our last week we are casing ME!  I found a card from last year that I wanted to recreate because I love the layout!

TERRIFIC TOADSTOOLS

For my card, I rearranged the colors a little bit and used the Terrific Toadstools stamp set on my recreated card!

 

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Pool Party cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Bubble Bath cardstock is added on top.
• Two 3/4 x 5-1/4 strips of Lovely Garden Designer Paper were colored over the white flowers with Bubble Bath Stampin’ Blends and adhered to the front.
• The 3 x 3-3/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was brushed with Pool Party Ink using a Blending Brush in the background.
• The greeting from Terrific Toadstools was stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper left corner.
• The toadstools and stems were stamped with alternating Bubble Bath and Pool Party Inks on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut.  (I hand-cut because I like a little white space around the edges of my images…you could use the punch for most of it.)
• The ground and leaves were stamped with Garden Green Ink on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut.
• Everything was added to the front white panel with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• A portion of the Labeled with Love Punch was cut from Pool Party cardstock and added to the panel with a Stampin’ Dimensional.
• A trio of Party Dots were added to the tag and background.
