Running behind today! The time change has really messed with my system this time…I got to bed late and wake up late…not good for getting things done!
The majority of this card has been sitting on my desk waiting to be finished. I had the background done and the medallion from Stampin' Up!'s Baby Blossoms stamp set done…the ribbon on. I was going to stamp some flowers in the medallion, but looked at the Designer Paper and decided to cut out one of the floral bouquets instead! Made it easy for the rest of the card to go together!
I started with the striped designer paper in Springtime Vintage and built the card from there. I added another print from Springtime Vintage with the Always Artichoke color, then layered it on Always Artichoke cardstock for the front. I wrapped the Always Artichoke Seam Binding ribbon around and tied it on the front. I added the medallion from Stampin' Up!'s Baby Blossoms stamp set, stamped with Always Artichoke Classic Ink on Sahara Sand. I popped it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I also added little pearls in each of the points.
As I mentioned, I cut out one of the bouquets in a scrap piece of the Designer Paper and placed it in the center of the medallion with another dimensional. I stamped Easter Wishes from Something to Celebrate in Basic Black on Rose Red cardstock, then punched with the Modern Label Punch and placed it with Stampin' Dimensionals.
I love the old fashioned look to this card…think I'll send it to my mom and dad for Easter!
Well…back to taxes and mailing off magnets and flip flops!
Sharing creativity one stamped image at a time!
