Today on Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge, we have a beautiful color challenge for you to try!  Everyone is welcome to play along!  I was surprised how much I loved the colors of Island Indigo, Baja Breeze and Rich Razzleberry together!

 

 

 

I worked on my card while I was at the stamping retreat.  I wanted to make a gift card holder.  This one turned out to be lots of fun!

 

 

 

The base is Whisper White with Rich Razzleberry layer.  I added a strip of Island Indigo in the background.  I cut the Top Note from Pocketful of Posies Designer Paper.  On top is the folder for the gift card.  I added an Island Indigo stocking from Stitched Stockings stamp set and used the coordinating punch!  I stamped the stocking snowflake again in Baja Breeze ink and added a Rhinestone jewel.  Under the stocking is a layer of Rich Razzleberry run thru the Big Shot with the Snow Burst Impressions Folder.  I wrapped some Island Indigo Ruffled Ribbon around the Whisper White layer and stamped Merry Christmas from Petite Pairs in Island Indigo Classic Ink.

 

 

Inside, I also embossed the bottom portion with the Snow Burst Impressions Folder and cut a 1" half circle along the top in order to get the gift card out easily.  I stamped the paired sentiment with Island Indigo on Whisper White and punched with the Decorative Label Punch.  How wonderful to have a place for the gift card inside the card!
