OK…that's all I got! I was going to try to write my post in an Irish brogue…but…my brain isn't wrapping around that today! Have a wonderful day and careful drinking that green beer…be safe on the roads, too!
Over at Create with Connie and Mary, we're showing off our St. Patrick's Day ideas with a GREEN THEME challenge! Your challenge card doesn't need to use St. Patrick's Day stamps….just LOTS and LOTS of green! But, the Design Team is "wearing the green" today!
I went for a clean and crisp look on my card! You could substitute any round circle in the center! I started with a base of Garden Green cardstock and layered with Whisper White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Framed Tulip Impressions Folder. Inside that I added another layer of Whisper White that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Perfect Polka Dots Impressions Folder and I wrapped the Basic Black Satin Ribbon around and secured in the back.. It is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. I stamped Stampin' Up!'s darling Lucky Shamrock single stamp (back of the Summer Mini) in Basic Black on both Garden Green and Whisper White. I punched the Garden Green with a 1 3/4 Circle Punch and the Whisper White with the 1" Circle Punch. I added a tiny Rhinestone Jewel to the shamrock for some extra bling.
Inside I used the Framed Tulip Impressions Folder on Whisper White again to finish off the simple card! I usually only make ONE St. Patrick's Day card for my friend Lynn…I know she likes to celebrate the holiday. You should have seen all the green beer cards she made over the past stamping weekend! She has seen this one, so I'll need to make up another one!
Have a HAPPY St. Patricks's Day and don't forget to upload your GREEN theme card over on Create with Connie and Mary to play along this week! Stop by and see what the other designers did, too!

I really love your card! I seem to share the same birthday with several people today so I love making combo birthday/St. Patrick's Day cards. So, of course I would love to see one of the green beer cards your friend Lynn made! Unfortunately one of people I make the cards for – is our minister's wife! Somehow, I don't think she would be into a green beer card! This year I made a card that had Irish Breakfast tea bags in it! Thanks for sharing! I love your blog and all your great stuff!

Very cute clean & simple card. The black makes everything else "pop" on your card!
