I love the colors in the Eastern Elegance Designer Paper! I decided to use it for the anniversary card of my youngest son, Ross and Allie. You may remember that I was knee deep in wedding projects a while ago…well, it has been TWO years! Hard to believe!
I think this turned out gorgeous, but…oh so simple! The DSP and ruffled ribbon does ALL the work!
- The base is Coastal Cabana cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 and folded in half.
- I cut a 2 1/4 x 5 1/4 piece of Eastern Elegance DSP and added the Coastal Cabana Ruffled Ribbon along the bottom. I also trimmed a 1/2 x 5 1/4 piece of Crushed Curry cardstock and placed it under the top of the DSP, then added the panel to the front.
- I stamped Happy Anniversary from the new hostess set, Express Yourself, in Crushed Curry Ink. Don't you LOVE the script font they used for this set?
- Finally, I punched two Butterflies, then embossed with the Fancy Fan Folder and added Pearls for the body. They are popped up on the front with Stampin' Dimensionals.
See…told you it was SIMPLE…but elegant! Want some of that WONDERFUL Ruffled Ribbon? I still have my RIBBON SHARES going on now! ALL the ribbons in the main catalog are available. I have another order going in within the next day or so! Here are the details!
