TSSC252 Everybunny

February 27, 2013 By Connie | 5 Comments

I haven't had the opportunity to play along with Mary Jo's Monday Technostamper's Lunchtime Challenge for a LONG time!  I loved her sketch this week, so I grabbed another Easter set, Everybunny, and played along!

Here's my take on her sketch.  I used the same Designer Paper and colors as my card on Monday!

Here are the details:

  1. The base card is 4 1/4 x 11 of Primrose Petals, folded in half.
  2. The Birds of a Feather pattern is 3 x 5 1/2 and adhered towards the left side.
  3. The balloon bunny from Everybunny was stamped with Black Stazon on Whisper White and watercolored with Summer Starfruit, Island Indigo, Primrose Petals, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip Markers.  The bunny is Crumb Cake and the basket is Chocolate Chip.
  4. I used the Oval Framelits to cut the Whisper White and Summer Starfruit ovals, then pierced around the larger one.
  5. Happy Easter is stamped with Island Indigo on Whisper White and punched with the Modern Label punch, then layered on a 1 1/4" Circle of Island Indigo and the Crumb Cake Decorative Label punch.  I tucked it up partially under the Ovals and added two Itty Bitty flower punches with Pearls on the bottom right side.
  6. I added more Itty Bitty flower punches with Pearls from the bunnies hand floating thru the air…lol!

Again a really fun Easter card!  Hope you enjoy it!

I love stamping cards, altering 3D items and making little favors. I've been stamping for over 20 years and will have my 19th year Stampin' Up! anniversary in early May. I love being part of something that sparks my creativity and hear people comment, "you MADE this?" I also enjoy sharing that passion with others in my classes! If you live anywhere in the Delaware, Dublin, Powell, Lewis Center, Hilliard or surrounding Columbus, Ohio areas, join us! I love to meet new stamping friends. Email me for a current class schedule... I'm adding new classes all the time!

I tried to comment on here earlier from my phone but this new comment thingy was just a gray spot that I was not able to type on.  Oh well, just wanted to say thanks for playing along with my sketch challenge this week, I love that cute little Easter set.  Although I do mostly Christian Easter cards I had to buy this set since it was just darling.  I love the colors you used on the balloon.

This is such a cute card!  The dsp is perfect for a sky background and I love the flowers falling from the bunny's hand.

I love this bunny throwing the flowers out of the balloon.  Very cute and I will be casing this idea.  Thanks for playing with us this week at TSSC.
