It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. It’s a great sketch this week!

 

ADVENTUROUS SKY

While waiting for my new box of Stampin’ Up! Mini Catalog products to arrive, I pulled out Adventurous Sky Bundle to use on this card!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Crushed Curry cardstock scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • I added a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White to the front.
  • A 3/4 strip of Night of Navy end were cut at an angle and then was added towards the top.
  • Next is a 3 x 4-1/2 layer of Take to the Sky Designer Paper.
  • I stamped the plane with Night of Navy Ink on Basic White cardstock, colored it with Daffodil Delight, Light Basic Black, and Wild Wheat Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the Adventurous Sky Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Some Adhesive Backed Textured Dots were added to the prop and the background
  • You’re the Best from Adventurous Sky was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on 3/4 x 3 Crushed Curry cardstock and the ends cut on an angle.  It was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

 

I looked up bi-planes online and lots are the color of yellow!  OK, go check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did with this challenge over on Create with Stamping Friends.

It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. Love the masculine feel to these colors!

ADVENTUROUS SKY

I just got this Adventurous Sky Bundle and designer paper, so thought it would be great to use it for today’s challenge!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • Two patterns from the Take to the Sky Designer Paper were cut at 1-3/4 x 5 and added to the front.
  • The 2 x 3-1/4 piece of Pool Party cardstock was stamped with the greeting in Memento Black Ink and the small cloud with Pool Party Ink randomly.  It was adhered to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The plane was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Pool Party Combo and Light Copper Clay Stampin’ Blends.  It was cut with the Adventurous Sky Dies and added on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The Adhesive Backed Textured Dots were added to the background and the prop of the plane.
  • Some Natural Tones Linen Thread (upcoming July-Dec Catalog) was tied in a bow and added to the front with a Mini Glue Dot.
