It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  It’s a unique sketch this week!

BEAUTIFUL PUMPKINS

This card is a little “busier” than I normally would like…maybe should have used some solid shapes of cardstock mixed in with the DSP.  Oh well!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Old Olive cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake was added on top.
  • Eight 1/2″ x 4 strips of Gathering together DSP were assembled on the front and the excess trimmed off the sides.
  • The pumpkins were stamped with Timid Tiger Ink first and Cajun Craze Ink for the detail.  The stems with Pecan Pie Ink and the leaves/vine with Old Olive Ink.  All were hand-cut and added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting was stamped with Old Olive Ink on 3/4 x 2-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock and trimmer to a banner edge.  It was added to the top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Cajun Craze & Gold Foil Dots were added to the background.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Autumn Wishes”!  I love all the colors of fall…and pumpkins!

BEAUTIFUL PUMPKINS

These distinctive pumpkin stamps are SO nice to add detail with just a little effort!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Peach Pie cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.  The front was embossed with the Gathering Leaves Embossing Folder.
  • A 1-1/2 x 5-1/2 strip of Celebratory Sips Designer Paper was added down the front.
  • The pumpkin solid image was stamped with Peach Pie Ink on 2-1/2 x 3 piece of Very Vanilla and the detail was stamped several times with Timid Tiger Ink.  The stem was stamped with Early Espresso Ink and the three leaves with Old Olive ink on scrap Very Vanilla.  They were cut with the Dies and added to the pumpkin (one leaf left for the greeting).
  • The Vanilla was added to a 2-3/4 x 3-1/4 piece of Timid Tiger cardstock, then added to the front.
  • The greeting was stamped with Early Espresso Ink on 1 x 2-1/2 piece of Very Vanilla and the end cut as a flag.  It was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  The leaf was added below the greeting.
  • Three Cajun Craze/Gold Dots were added into the background.
