IM381 – Citrus Blooms

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a bunch of oranges print!

CITRUS BLOOMS

I used the Citrus Blooms Bundle a LOT when it first came out! So was happy to use it again on today’s challenge before it retires! I combined it with some new products…Darling Duckling and Timid Tiger cardstock and the Everyday Arches Dies…for an updated look!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Darling Duckling (new In Color!) cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 2-1/2 x 4 panel of Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper was added to the front towards the bottom.
Two 3/8 x 6 strips of Timid Tiger cardstock were added on a diagonal across the top and trimmed off the sides.
Basic White cardstock was cut with the Everyday Arch die and stamped with the single orange image and greeting in Memento Black Ink. Two corners were stamped with the cross images in Lemon Lolly Ink.
The image was colored with Peach Pie, Pumpkin Pie, Lemon Lolly, Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals on an angle.
Four small flowers were stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Lemon Lolly and Light Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends, then cut with the dies and added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Rainbow Dots were colored with Pumpkin Pie Blends for a variegated look and added to the flower centers.

We just visited the Florida Naturals orange juice welcome center when we were in Florida a few weeks ago. This card definitely reminds me of some of the old juice labels we saw in the museum! OK, check out Debbie’s Inspiration Monday card over on Create with Stamping Friends!

CS147 – Citrus Blooms

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Foodie”. Cards that have a food type item on them!

CITRUS BLOOMS

I love the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper…so many nice images to cut out…and the various sizes of blue tiles…wow! I especially love the lemons.

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Daffodil Delight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic Beige was added on the front.
Two 1-1/4 x 4 strips of Mediterranean Blooms DSP were added to the background offset.
The double lemon cluster was hand-cut from the DSP and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Four of the leaf branches were cut from Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and tucked around the lemons.
The greeting from Citrus Blooms stamp set was stamped with Old Olive Ink on a 1/2 x 2-1/2 strip of Basic White cardstock and the ends cut an an angle.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow and added to the stem with a Mini Glue Dot.
Three yellow Shiny Sequins were added to the background.

Welcome to Create with Stamping Friends Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Debbie and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “Appreciation”.

CITRUS BLOOMS

I had to pull out my new Citrus Blooms Suite…I was so excited to use it! But, to keep it simple, I just used the greenery die, some DSP and a couple of the small, stamped flowers! I REALLY wish they would have included a lemon stamp image, too, because I love this paper!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lolly cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Two 2 x 4 pieces of the Mediterranean Blooms Designer Paper were torn across the top and bottom and then added to a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock, then adhered to the front.
The greenery piece was cut with the Citrus Blooms Die from Old Olive cardstock and added to the center with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The Citrus Blooms greeting was stamped with Old Olive Ink on Lemon Lolly cardstock and cut with the Unbounded Love label Dies. It was adhered to the greenery.
Three flowers from Citrus Blooms stamp set were stamped with Daffodil Delight Ink on Basic White and cut with the Citrus Blooms Dies, then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Some yellow Opal Rounds Assortment were added to the center of the flowers.
