Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge!  Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Plants”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday using that theme!

EDEN’S GARDEN

For the last “plants” card this month, I went looking for a stamp set that had a variety of branchy leaves.  Eden’s Garden worked perfectly!  Then I used some non-green colors to create this SIMPLE card!  Anyone else going to miss Misty Moonlight?  I love this blue and am very sad it is retiring with the rest of the 2021-22 In Colors!  Crossing my fingers that they bring it back one day.

 

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Misty Moonlight cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
• A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Crumb Cake cardstock is added on top.
• The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic White was stamped with one leaf branch from Eden’s Garden Stamp Set in Crumb Cake Ink randomly along the left side.  Then stamped with another leaf branch in Misty Moonlight Ink.  It was embossed with the Textile Textures Embossing Folder and then added to the front.
• The greeting from Eden’s Garden was stamped with Misty Moonlight Ink on Basic White cardstock, then cut with the Hippo & Friends Die.
• It was layered on another Hippo & Friends Die cut from Misty Moonlight cardstock.  Both were popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• A trio of Matte Decorative Dots were added to the background.
