It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Stamping Friends Thursday Challenge. It’s a great sketch this week for you to try!

FESTIVE WORDS                                                                                   

I love this snowman hat…I got this set because I saw a cute card that I want to recreate someday, and I thought it would make some fun tags!  The images are a perfect size for the center of this sketch!  You could substitute ANY of them easily!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
• The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pool Party cardstock was embossed with the Snowflake Sky Embossing Folder (Online Exclusive).
• A 3-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Snowy Scenes Designer Paper was added to the Pool Party layer.
• Some Pool Party Pom Pom Ribbon was wrapped around the Pool Party layer and tied in a knot.  The layers were added to the front of the base card.
• A circle was cut from Basic White cardstock using the Spotlight on Nature Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• The hat was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and colored with Dark Smoky Slate, Dark Real Red, and Light Shaded Spruce and Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blends.  (I get the Garden Green color by using the Shaded Spruce Blends first, then go over the top with the Light Old Olive Blends.)  It was hand-cut and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• Some White Loose Snowflakes were added to the background.
