Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “Sparkle”. It’s the PERFECT theme for this month, don’t you think? We’ll create a simple card every Tuesday in December using that theme!
JOYFUL FLURRY
Of course…it’s a snowflake set…I HAVE to get it, right? I thought some gold and silver snowflakes would sparkle on my card!
Stampin’ Details:
- Base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was embossed with this Merry Melody Embossing Folder and added to the front.
- The large and two medium snowflakes were cut from Gold Metallic Paper with the Frosted Flurry Dies. You’ll have to snip a few of the edges to completely loosen them…they are made to stay in the background. The large was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals and the medium ones with Mini Glue Dots.
- Two of the small snowflakes were cut with the Dies from Silver Foil and one was layered on the inside of the larger snowflake with a Mini Glue Dot.
- The greeting from Joyful Wishes was stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. It was cut with the small label die in the Frosted Flurries Dies, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Some Festive Pearls (light blue ones) were added to the center of the snowflakes.
