Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a tree swing! I always wanted one when I was young but we never had large enough swings in our yard.
GLIDING GARDEN SWING
This is another fun set that I think has been overlooked! This card is mostly die cuts so it comes together quickly once the cutting is done! I love that BIG tree die!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock was stamped with the greeting in the upper right corner and the grass along the bottom with Garden Green Ink. Some Garden Green Ink was brushed around the area where the tree limb will be.
- The tree was cut with the die from Early Espresso cardstock and trimmed to fit the Basic White cardstock and adhered.
- The swing was cut from Basic Beige cardstock and brushed with Pecan Pie Ink to age. It was added to the tree limbs with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The tree leaves were cut from Garden Green and layered flat and with Stampin’ Dimensionals across the limb.
- The flowers were cut from Pretty in Pink cardstock using the Die and adhered to the tree limbs and one at the base of the tree and some going down the swing.
- The pillow was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Pretty in Pink, Peach Pie and Old Olive Stampin’ Blends. It was cut with the die and tucked on the bench with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
