CS178 – Heart Shaped

This month our Creatively Simple challenge theme is Hearts.  It’s our last one using this theme…come back and check out our new theme next week!

HEART SHAPED

I’m combining Heart Shaped Bundle with Hearts of Elegance Dies for an easy Valentine!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Bubble Bath cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White was water colored with Melon Mambo Ink using a Water Painter in the upper left corner.
  • The medium heart (that fits the wreath heart) was cut with the Hearts of Elegance Die from Marbled Elegance Designer Paper.  It was added over the water-colored scribbles with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The wreath heart from Heart Shaped (SAB) was cut from Melon Mambo cardstock and adhered to the other heart.
  • The greeting from Heart Shaped was stamped with Memento Black Ink on a 3/8 x 3 strip of Bubble Bath cardstock and cut apart, then added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of Heart Sequins were added next to the greeting.

It’s a new month for our Creatively Simple challenges and here is this month’s theme!

HEART SHAPED

A little stamping, a little die cutting, and some cardstock and DSP…easy card to pull together!  I actually had this heart already stamped from another project, so I get to use it up from my pile of “starts”.  I think this SAB Level 2 Selection is such a great value!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Poppy Parade cardstock was added on top.
  • Next a 2-1/4 x 5-1/4 piece of Lemon Lime Twist was added down the center.
  • A 3 x 4 piece of Marbled Elegance Designer Paper was added on top, centered.
  • The heart from Heart Shaped was stamped with Lemon Lime Twist on a 2-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Basic White cardstock.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The flower was cut from Poppy Parade cardstock with the Heart Shaped Die.
  • Some Gold Twisted Thread was tied in a bow and added to the heart with a Mini Glue Dot.  The flower was added on top with a Mini Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • The greeting stamped with Memento Black Ink on Lemon Lime Twist cardstock and cut with the label die in the Heart Shaped Dies.  It was added to the front with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A pink In Color Shimmer Gem was added to the center of the flower.

IM366 – Heart Shaped

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration is a color landscape of trees!

HEART SHAPED

I have no tree stamps with me (I know!  How did I leave them behind?) so improvised with using the new Heart Shaped Sale-A-Bration Level 2 bundle!  It paired nicely with the Full of Life Designer Paper to give me the look of the inspiration photo!

 

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Full of Life 6×6 Designer Paper was added on top.
  • The heart from Heart Shaped Dies was cut from Basic Black cardstock and adhered to the front.
  • Two flowers were cut from Melon Mambo cardstock and two leaves from Granny Apple Green cardstock.
  • The greeting from Heart Shaped stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the label in the Heart Shaped Dies.
  • All were added to the heart with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • Two peach Party Dots were added to the center of the flowers!
