Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme for our simple cards. This month the theme is “NEW” cards…let’s use some of the new products in the Jan-Apr Mini Catalog and SAB Catalog on our cards!
DETAILED DOGWOOD
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Basic Whie cardstock was stamped with the Detailed Dogwood branch image along the bottom in Lemon Lime Twist and Granny Apple Green several times overlapping each other.
- Hello from Heartfelt Hellos was stamped with Memento Black Ink above the branches.
- Two dragonflies from Detailed Dogwood stamp set were stamped with Azure Afternoon Ink on Basic White cardstock and hand-cut, then added to the card.
- The coral Opaque Faceted Gems were added to the branches along the bottom and the copper Opaque Faceted Gems were added to the bodies of the dragonflies.
