It’s Thursday and you know that means it is time for a Create with Connie and Mary Thursday Challenge. Love today’s sketch challenge!
PANSY PETALS DSP
I’m on a mission to use up the DSP that I have from the current catalog before it retires. I’ve done pretty good on a lot of my packages! I had these pansies already cut from the DSP, so decided to finish them into a card.
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Calypso Coral cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- Two 2 x 3-3/4 pieces of Pansy Petals gingham DSP were added to the background.
- A Stitched Rectangle was cut from Basic White cardstock and added to the front.
- A 1/2 x 4-1/2 strip of the Pansy Petals polka dot DSP was added across the front.
- Two of the pansies and four of the leaves were cut from the DSP (use the dies, or hand-cut) and added on top with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Happy Mom Day from Happy & Heartfelt stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 3/4 x 2-3/4 Pale Papaya cardstock and tucked under the pansies on the front.
- Two In Color dark green Jewels were added to the Stitched Rectangle.
