It's time again for another Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge SSC179! I struggled with this one for a while, until I decided to use the panels as background and add a pleated flower from the large Medallion in Day of Gratitude stamp set in the front!
Here is my card…I thought it appropriate to do one more fall card for Thanksgiving week! From now on, it will be full speed ahead to Christmas and winter holidays!
I started with a base of Old Olive cardstock and layered on Cajun Craze. I added three panels from Autumn Spice Designer Paper's leaf pattern. I added a strip of the stripe in Autumn Spice DSP, too, and layered it on Old Olive. I used the Scallop Edge Border punch along the bottom of the Old Olive. I stamped "Gratitude" in Early Espresso in the lower right corner.
For my flower, I stamped two of the large Medallions from Day of Gratitude with the Rock n' Roll technique and More Mustard and Cajun Craze Classic Inks. I cut both of the Medallion's out and then scored them with the Pleated Flower technique, adhering them together. In the center I used a Glimmer Brad in the center of a Designer Button and placed it with Stampin' Dimensionals in the center of the Medallion. I added it to the front of the card with more Stampin' Dimensionals.
Make sure to check out what the rest of the Stamping 411 Operators did this week with the sketch challenge! I'm sure they are fabulous!
