Saturday Blog Hop – Winter Friends

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are featuring our Winter Friends! Lots of choices to use this week!

REINDEER FUN

I didn’t start out thinking I’d use this set, but I was inspired by something I saw on Pinterest and converted it using Stampin’ Up! products!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Petal Pink cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Snowy Scenes Designer Paper was added on top.
A 2 x 5-1/4 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top for the snowbank and added to the bottom of the snowflake DSP.
The mother and baby deer from Reindeer Fun were stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic Beige cardstock and cut with the Reindeer Fun Die. Their cheeks were colored with Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The snowflake was cut from Basic White cardstock using the One of a Kind Die. It was adhered on the front in the upper left corner.
Merry Christmas from Reindeer Fun stamp set was stamped with Pecan Pie Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the label die from Delicate Forest Dies. It was added with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front.
Some Linen Thread was tied in a bow around the mother’s neck.
Three white Adhesive Backed Sequins Trio were added to the background.

Saturday Blog Hop – Deck the Halls

It’s Saturday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends Blog Hop. This week we are featuring Deck the Halls…Christmas cards using greenery or trees! I thought of the song, so die-cut some holly from Old Olive cardstock using the Reindeer Fun Dies!

CHRISTMAS LABELS

This card was fun to pull together with just a couple dies, embossing folder and a simple greeting!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Real Red cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 4-1/4 layer of Early Espresso was embossed with the Birch Embossing Folder.
A small pool of White Craft Ink was mixed with a little water on a piece of plastic and then used a paint brush to splatter the Early Espresso background. It was added to the front.
Four holly leaf clusters were cut with the Reindeer Fun holly die from Old Olive cardstock. Each was “painted” with the White Craft Ink and paint brush.
The berries were cut with the Reindeer Fun die from Real Red cardstock and painted with White Craft Ink also.
The holly and berries were added to the Early Espresso layer with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greeting was stamped with Real Red Ink on Basic White cardstock and cut with the Christmas Labels Die.
Some Gold Twisted Thread was wrapped in loops around my fingers, then added with a Stampin’ Dimensionals to the front and the greeting added on top with more Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Love the frosty look that the White Ink adds to the holly and berries, don’t you? “Deck the Halls” for sure! IM351 – Reindeer Fun

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration challenge is some cute reindeer! Of course, you know what set I used!

REINDEER FUN

The Reindeer Days Designer Paper is just loaded with whimsical reindeer prints, so I just had to use one of them for today’s card! I also love this greenery frame that is available from the Reindeer Fun Dies! Makes this card come together REALLY quickly!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Garden Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 2-1/4 x 5-1/2 strip of evergreen tree Reindeer Days Designer Paper was added across the front of the base card.
A 3-3/4 x 4 layer of Basic White cardstock was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The greenery frame was cut from a 3-1/2 x 3-3/4 piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock and added to the Basic White cardstock.
Merry Christmas from Reindeer Fun stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 by 3-1/2 strip of Garden Green cardstock and adhered at the bottom of the greenery circle.
The reindeer was cut from the Reindeer Days Designer Paper and added in front of the greenery with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple Pecan Pie & Clear Ribboned Dots were added to the corners.
