It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge!  We have a really fun sketch this week!

SILLY OLD BEAR

I love this sketch…in fact you’ll need to come back on Saturday for another card idea using it!  I just got my Silly Old Bear DSP and couldn’t wait to cut it up and use some of the cute images!

Stampin’ Details:

• The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Basic Beige cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
• A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Peaceful Pine cardstock was added on top.
• Two rectangles of Silly Old Bear DSP map print were cut to 1-3/4 x 3-1/4 and two of the striped print were cut to 1-3/4 x 1-7/8.  they were added to the front of the Peaceful Pine cardstock leaving a small margin around them.
• The larger Spotlight on Nature circle was cut with the die from Peaceful Pine cardstock and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• The smaller Spotlight on Nature circle was cut from Very Vanilla cardstock and the bottom brushed with Peaceful Pine Ink and the top with Hydrangea Blue Ink using the Blending Brushes.
• The greeting from Banner Sayings was stamped with Peaceful Pine Ink.  This circle was added to the Peaceful Pine circle flat.
• The cute Pooh bear was cut from the DSP along with a little pot of honey.  They were added to the front of the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
• A trio of Earthy Matte Dots were added the background.
• Some Linen Thread was tied in a knot and added next to the feet of the bear.
