Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a couple wood slice snowmen! Aren’t they cute?
SNOWFLAKE KISSES
Again…I’m using the greeting from the Snowflake Kisses stamp set on my card! I love them…this set is a keeper for me! I looked through my supply of designer paper for a wood print…finally found it in the Nests of Winter Designer Paper!
Stampin’ Details:
- The base is 4-1//4 x 11 Crumb Cake cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
- The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Cloud Cover cardstock was stamped with the Falling Snow Background Stamp with Cloud Cover Ink. It was added to the front.
- A 2 x 4 piece of Basic White cardstock was torn across the top and then stamped with the Snowflake Kisses greeting in Memento Black Ink.
- The snowman was built with three Stylish Shapes circles cut from the Nests of Winter DSP, then were adhered together and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Using the Gingerbread Man Dies, the hat and scarf were cut from Crumb Cake cardstock and the hat trimmed down to fit the circle. The eyes and buttons were cut from Basic Black cardstock and the arms were cut from Early Espresso cardstock. All were assembled on the snowman.
- The nose is a small triangle cut from Pumpkin Pie cardstock and the mouth is hand-drawn with a Black marker.
- Two Crumb Cake Pearls of Beauty were added to the background and a white one added to the scarf.
