CS217 – Spooky Halloween

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”! Halloween is this week! I’ve enjoyed making lots of Halloween cards this year!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

This was a card that my Stamp Class did for September! Again, just a little bit of stamping, masking and dies!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is -1/4 x 11 Basic Black cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 3-3/4 x 5 layer of Gorgeous Grape cardstock was stamped with the Spooky Halloween bats in Memento Black Ink in the upper left corner and then embossed with the Soft Waves Embossing Folder and added to the front.
The larger Fright Night label was cut from the gray speckled pattern in Botanical Textures Designer Paper, then masked with a 1-1/4″ circle (for the moon) in the upper right corner and sponged with Gorgeous Grape Ink. Some Spooky Halloween bats were stamped with Memento Black Ink over the “moon”. It was added to the front flat.
The house was cut from Basic Black cardstock with the Spooky Halloween house die and backed with Daffodil Delight cardstock to show through the windows. It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The fence was cut with the Die from Basic Black cardstock and cut in half, then added on each side of the house.
Happy Halloween from Fright Night was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Smoky Slate cardstock and cut with the Fright Night banner die, then added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A couple Purple Fine Shimmer Gems were added in the background.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”! Halloween is right around the corner!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

Another simple card using mostly the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper! Not much stamping…just a few bats!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Pumpkin Pie cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of black diagonal print Spooky Sweets DSP was stamped with the Spooky Halloween bats image in Memento Black Ink in the upper right corner. It was layered on the front.
A 1/2 x 5-1/4 strip of candy Spooky Sweet DSP was adhered along the bottom.
The letters WICKED were cut from Basic Black cardstock using the Mini Alphabet dies and adhered to the upper left side.
The broom and bat were die-cuts from the Spooky Sweet Designer Paper and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of purple Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to the background.

It’s a new month! Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Fright Night”! Halloween is right around the corner!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN & FRIGHT NIGHT

This is a SIMPLE card using the two Halloween die sets…Spooky Halloween & Fright Night…with a little designer paper! So easy to pull together!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Gorgeous Grape cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Secret Sea cardstock was added on top.
The larger label was cut with the Fright Night Die from Spooky Sweet Designer Paper and added to the front right bottom.
The house and bats were cut with the Spooky Halloween Dies from Basic Black cardstock. The 1-1/4 x 2-1/4 Darling Duckling cardstock was adhered behind the house and then trimmed out for the windows and doors. They were added to the label with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Boo from Fright Night Dies and the fence from Spooky Halloween Dies were cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock and added to the front.
The crow and pumpkins are on the Spooky Sweet Die-cut Sheet and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to the background.

CSF887 – Spooky Halloween

It’s Thursday and time for our Create with Stamping Friends challenge! It’s a fun sketch this week to try!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

We’re getting closer and closer to Halloween! I thought this sketch was perfect for the little critters in the Spooky Halloween set!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Granny Apple Green cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Gray Granite cardstock was added to the front.
Two 1 x 3-1/2 strips of candy Spooky Sweet Designer Paper were weaved together with a 1 x 5-1/4 strip of orange DSP and adhered to the front.
The bats from Spooky Halloween were stamped with Memento Black Ink in the upper right corner.
The cat was stamped with Memento Black Ink on scrap Basic White cardstock and colored with Gray Granite, Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Granny Apple Green and Timid Tiger Stampin’ Blends. She was cut with the Dies and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The cauldron is a die-cut in the Spooky Sweet DSP that was added with Stampin’ Dimensionals next to the cat.
The bubbles were colored with Wink of Stella for some shimmer.
Spooky greeting was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 Basic White cardstock and tucked partially under the side of the cat.
A trio of green Traditional Sparkling Sequins were added to the bubbles and the background DSP.

IM398 – Spooky Halloween

Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges. This week’s inspiration is a spooky scene!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

I’ve been wanting to use the Twisted in Time trees for a Halloween card, and this was a perfect time! Hurry and grab them…they are on the Last Chance list!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Basic Black cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
The 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Pumpkin Pie cardstock was brushed with Memento Black Ink around the top edges.
A 3 x 4-1/2 piece of Basic Black cardstock was torn about 1″ from the top. Both the torn edges were brushed with White Craft Ink, then layered together on the bottom of the Pumpkin Pie layer. It was added to the front.
The moon was punched with the 2″ Circle Punch from Daffodil Delight cardstock and brushed with Pumpkin Pie Ink, it was added to the top.
Two trees were cut with the Twisted in Time Dies from Basic Black cardstock using the Die, then adhere to each side, trimming off the excess on the edges.
The house was cut from Basic Black cardstock and a background piece of Daffodil Delight was trimmed to fit behind the windows and doors. They were adhered together. A Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Blends was used to color the bottom of the windows and doors for a shadow look. The house was added to the front with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
The bats were cut from Basic Black cardstock and adhered to the moon with Black Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Spooky from Spooky Halloween stamp set was stamped with Memento Black Ink on 1/2 x 2 piece of Spooky Sweets Designer Paper and the end cut at an angle. It was adhered to the bottom on the front.
A trio of yellow 2025-27 In Color Flat Pearls were added around the bottom.

Our Creatively Simple theme this month is “Animals”!

SPOOKY HALLOWEEN

As quickly as the summer is going by, it will be Halloween before we know it! I guess I’m getting a little jump on the holiday!

Stampin’ Details:

The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Timid Tiger cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
Two banners in the Spooky Sweets Designer Paper were cut out and then a third the same size from the gray textured print. All were added to the background.
One of the tombstones was hand-cut from the Spooky Sweets DSP and added at an angle to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Two spiderwebs and EEK were cut with the Fright Night Dies from Basic Black cardstock and the webs tucked next to the tombstone, EEK at the top.
A spider was cut from Gorgeous Grape cardstock with the Fright Night Die and added to the web.
The Spooky Halloween cat was stamped with Memento Black Ink on Basic White cardstock. She was colored with Gray Granite, Timid Tiger, Peach Pie, Highland Heather and Lemon Lime Twist Stampin’ Blends. The broomstick was stamped with Memento Black Ink and colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blends. They were cut with the Spooky Halloween Dies and were popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
A trio of purple Shimmer Star Foam Stickers were added to the background.
