Welcome to Create with Connie and Mary’s Creatively Simple Challenge! Each month Mary and I will pick a theme…this month it is “MONOCHROMATIC CARDS”, and we each create a simple card every Tuesday in August using that theme!
Very simple card today using the Trees for Sale stamp set and Shaded Spruce color!
TREES FOR SALE
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Shaded Spruce cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- On top is a 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock with the greeting from Trees for Sale stamped along the bottom in Shaded Spruce Ink.
- A 2-3/4 x 2-3/4 square of Shaded Spruce Regals 6×6 striped DSP was added to the front.
- A 6″ length of Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon was added across the center and adhered in the back of the Basic White cardstock, then added to the base card.
- The smaller Basic White cardstock was cut with the Deckled Rectangle Die. The three different sized solid trees were stamped off with Shaded Spruce ink and the detailed trees stamped full-strength over them to give a tone-on-tone look. The rectangle was popped up with Stampin’ Dimensionals over the DSP square.
- A trio of In Color Opal Rounds were added to the background.
