Welcome to our Create with Stamping Friends Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge is a collage of tools!

 

 

TRUSTY TOOLS

Of course, Trusty Tools came to mind immediately when I saw this challenge.  But instead of doing a collage, I chose to focus on just the drill.  I love the drill die that is in this bundle!

Stampin’ Details:

  • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Mossy Meadow cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
  • Two 1 x 5-1/2 strips of Take to the Sky DSP were added on each side.
  • The peg board was cut from Basic White cardstock with the die and adhered to the front.
  • The Spotlight on Nature circle was cut with the die from the Take to the Sky DSP and added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The drill was cut from Mossy Meadow and Night of Navy cardstocks with the die, then paper pieced to combine the two colors as shown.  The drill bit was cut from Smoky Slate with the dies.  It was popped up on the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • The greeting was stamped with Night of Navy Ink on a 1 x 3 piece of Boho Blue cardstock and added to the circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • A trio of blue Tinsel Gems Four Pack were added to the background.

Welcome to our Create with Connie and Mary Inspiration Monday challenges.  This week’s inspiration challenge are some tool cookies!  Don’t those look fun?

TRUSTY TOOLS

Well, no brain power needed here to figure out what set to use, right?  I grabbed my Trusty Tools Dies and Trusty Toolbox Designer Paper for my card!

Stampin’ Details:

    • The base is 4-1/4 x 11 Thick Basic White cardstock, scored at 5-1/2 and folded.
    • A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Lost Lagoon cardstock was added on top.
    • The 2-1/2 x 4-3/4 piece of Trusty Toolbox DSP was added at an angle on the right side.  The 1-1/2 x 3-1/2 piece of Trusty Toolbox ruler DSP was added diagonally on the left side.
    • The label was cut from Basic White cardstock and stamped with the greeting from Heartfelt Hellos stamp set in Lost Lagoon Ink.  It was added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
    • The drill was cut with the Trusty Toolbox Dies from Real Red, Gray Granite and Lost Lagoon cardstocks and trimmed, then added to the label.
    • A Rustic Metallic Dot was added to the drill.
    • The nuts and bolts were cut from Gray Granite cardstock with the dies, then added to the label.
