Happy Thanksgiving! I hope you are enjoying the day with family and friends. I know we are extremely thankful for all we are blessed with and I hope you are, too.
The Holiday Edition subscription to Create with Connie and Mary is now officially over, however we will still continue to bring you the Thursday Challenges! This week our challenge is to create and upload a small Thanksgiving Favor! The challenge team has come up with several ideas for you to use, so make sure to check them out. Come on…I know I'm not the only one who waits until the last minute to do these! lol! Make sure to upload your favor to InLinkz over on Create with Connie and Mary!
My favor box is the Matchbox die (ON SALE NOW!). The base is solid Old Olive cardstock, but I made the top sleeve out of Autumn Spice Designer Paper (it is cardstock weight and YUMMY!) I wrapped around the 5/8 Early Espresso Grosgrain Ribbon to tie it closed.
Isn't the tag fun? Thanks to Lynn Pratt for the punch art idea of a cooking turkey! Can you tell what I used? Yep…the Two Step Bird Punch turned upside down. The wing is the turkey leg! The petticott is the leg of the Two Step Owl punch out of Whisper White. I punched the turkey from Soft Suede, then used Early Espresso to sponge around the edges. I placed him in a tray of Brushed Silver cardstock. The tray is the Modern Label Punch cut in half lengthwise!
Under the tray, I stamped Happy Thanksgiving from Teeny Tiny Wishes. The leaves in the upper right corner were just cut from the Autumn Spice Designer Paper print! What FUN to find this at your place setting! Hmm….think I'll make up a few of these for my OWN Thanksgiving dinner!
I want to say THANK YOU to our wonderful Create with Connie and Mary design teams and my wonderful partner, Mary! They do an awesome job for us and we SO appreciate them sharing their wonderful talent! Make sure to check out what the Challenge Team did this week over on Create with Connie and Mary!
