It’s a new month and a new Creatively Simple challenge! Our theme this month is “Party Time”! All sorts of reasons to throw a party…birthday, graduation, anniversary, holiday!
TURTLE-Y CUTE
Although I haven’t purchased the Turtle-y Awesome Stamp Bundle, I do LOVE the Turtle-y Cute Designer Paper! So many cute images to cut out for almost ANY occasion! I went with a birthday cake and birthday hat for my turtle’s celebration!
- The base is 5-1/2 x 8-1/2 Lemon Lime Twist cardstock, scored at 4-1/4 and folded.
- A 4 x 5-1/4 layer of Basic White cardstock is added on top.
- The 1-1/4 x 4-1/2 strip of striped Turtle-y Cute DSP was adhered towards the bottom with a 3/4 x 3-3/4 strip of green swirls adhered on top.
- Celebrate from Blooming Phrases was stamped with Shaded Spruce Ink above the DSP.
- The turtle was hand-cut from the DSP, along with the cake and party hat. They were added to the front with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- A trio of Shades of Green Hexagons were added to the background.
