It's Thursday! Time for another Create with Connie and Mary Challenge! We have a really FUN sketch for you to try this week! I think you'll like it! I know it is going in my stash of "saves".
And, I finally had the chance to use the Fall Foliage Poinsettia again this year! It was a hit with my customers last year…I think I showed it in all my classes! I love this set for fall, but I REALLY love it for Christmas! I think it updated nicely from last year!
I started with a base of Cherry Cobbler and layered on Garden Green that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Houndstooth Impressions Folder. I followed the sketch and cut three different patterns from Frostwood Lodge Designer Paper…love that kind of rustic look! I wrapped around my Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding Ribbon and tied a knot.
I stamped one of the leaves in Fall Foliage with Bravo Burgundy Classic Ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock and another type with Garden Green on Garden Green cardstock. I alternated them around in a circle and then added pearls in the center. Everything is popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals. Finally, I stamped Merry Christmas from Petite Pairs in Early Espresso on Whisper White, then punched with the Curly Label Punch and slipped it under the ribbon (I had to cut it slightly).
That's it!!! I think I'll be making more of these to give away! Make sure to check out what the rest of the Challenge Team did today over on Create with Connie and Mary! Again, the variety amazes me!

Connie…you will laugh because we do this often, but I started out with a poinsettia this week and the same DSP, then changed my mind and went down a little different road as you can see! Great card! Love the poinsettia!

You just reminded me of this from last year, how quickly we forget. I have one more project for my 12 Days of Christmas coming up, maybe I'll use your idea! Very pretty card!
