We're hosting a sketch challenge this week on Create with Connie and Mary and everyone can play along! Come join us this week!
I pulled out a new set, Rue Des Fleurs, for me (from the Occasions Mini) and put it together in order to make this card. I think my favorite image is this pen…although I do like the corset, too!
I started with a base of Pool Party and layered on Soft Suede cardstock. Then I added the floral pattern from Attic Boutique Designer Paper…so pretty! I stamped the pen in Soft Suede and then the Thanks greeting, also in Rue Des Fleurs, in Calypso Coral on Whisper White cardstock. Behind it I punched two Decorative Label Punches from Calypso Coral and layered them behind the Whisper White. On the left side I punched a hole with the Crop A Dile and wrapped the Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon around and tied it with the Calypso Coral Bakers Twine. On the right one, I added a trio of Pearls. That element is mounted on Soft Suede that I ran thru the Big Shot with Finial Press Folder.

I love this pen image, too! So pretty! I didn't think I would like this floral print from the dsp but this is really pretty here! I will have to try it out myself! And the little pearls are just perfect!
Really simple, but with all the DSP and little embellished additions, it looks like a "fussy" card! Really lovely. Great working with you on Create!
Great use of the sketch, Connie! These colors are so pretty together and I love the little trio of pearls on the label. The ruffled ribbon is a great detail too!
Very creative how you added the Decorative Label for one of your layers and the ribbon treatment is adorable!
